Planned capabilities

The proposed Media Package would make uploads and attached files easier to manage without replacing core Storage.

• Record files and attach them to Models, including images, documents, collections, and metadata.
• Apply MIME type and file size policies, upload authorization, public or private visibility, and per-file drive selection.
• Serve private files through authorized downloads and provide controlled public URLs where appropriate.
• Inspect image dimensions and create thumbnails; broader transforms are a later idea.
• Replace or remove attachments, clean up orphaned files, and paginate media lists.
• Include database migrations and behavior tests when an implementation is built.
